History |
1979- ATS opened in Greater Orlando in 1979. Our philosophy was very simple "Make It Happen!" If a customer needed a package delivered anywhere or anytime, we were the company to call.
1980- In the 1980s we diversified into state-wide distribution, air freight forwarding, and local rush deliveries.
1990- In 1990, we returned to our roots and concentrated all of our efforts on local deliveries throughout Central Florida. We made this change with five couriers and a dedication to our customers that we would "Make It Happen."
2000- We experienced exponential growth in the 1990s and finished the decade with over 100 couriers.
2003- We
opened a small warehouse and began completing distribution and
residential deliveries in Florida.
2008- We
moved into a 60,000 square foot facility and corporate
headquarters in Orlando.
2009-
We opened a Distribution Center in Atlanta, GA serving all of
Georgia.
2009- We opened a Distribution Center in Charlotte, NC
serving all of South & North Carolina.
Today- We have three large regional Distribution Centers
with over 200
drivers. We complete rush shipments, residential deliveries, scheduled orders,
dedicated couriers, warehousing capabilities and most importantly a simple philosophy that began over
30 years ago, "Make It Happen!"

Delivery Services

- STAT-
Pick up and delivery within two hours of your
call (available 24 hours a day/seven days a week).
- 4
Hour- Pick up and delivery within four hours of your
call. Available if your shipment is ready between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Same
Day- Pick up and delivery by 5:00
pm. Available if your shipment is ready between 7:00 am and 10:00am, Monday through Friday.
- After
Hours- Monday through Friday delivery after 5:00 pm or before 7:00 am and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

- Freight
Services- We have all size vehicles including tractors,
trailers box trucks, soft side, and straight trucks with lift gates. Please call us for any size shipment and we will supply you with availability and pricing.
- Dedicated
Couriers / Vehicle- We supply a courier and vehicle to work for
you. You dispatch the courier, set the hours, route, stops, product, paperwork, and all other
aspects. We charge you an hourly rate and the courier is available directly to you.
- Logistics
Team- We will supply an entire delivery team including couriers, vehicles, and dispatcher on-site at your Orlando or Central Florida facility! You set all the parameters and leave the entire shipping process to us.
- Special
Projects- Tell us what you need and we can make it happen! Call us today and we will work with you to get it done.
- Warehousing-
We have a secure warehouse available. We have a team of people that are available to help with scheduling, routing, and warehousing of goods for future deliveries.

What are your rates?
Our rates are calculated by a combination of a base rate and a weight rate if the shipment exceeds 100 pounds. The rates are based on a city to city pricing schedule. Our rates are easy to compute and easy to understand.

Can you deliver shipments that require a straight truck and lift gate?
Yes - We have multiple straight trucks (up to 24 feet) with lift gates. These trucks are radio dispatched, alpha pager equipped, and uniformed. If possible, please schedule these trucks in advance as availability is limited. When a shipment can not be scheduled in advance, do not hesitate to call us. We may have a truck available, and we will always be able to estimate their availability time.
How do you track my shipment?
Our office is totally computerized. We track the time the shipment was ordered, the time of dispatch, and the time and signature for delivery.
Our dispatchers are in constant radio communication with the couriers to ensure your package is not delayed and is delivered in a timely fashion. Our dispatch team utilizes both a state of the art computer system and paper tracking. We also utilize alpha-numeric pagers to transmit all important information directly to the
courier.
How quickly will my package be delivered?
At any point your package is in transit, you can call our office and we will be able to identify the exact location of your shipment and estimate the couriers arrival time. Our team of dispatchers are in continuous communication with our fleet of couriers using state-wide digital radios. That communication line provides us the ability to determine how quickly your package will be
delivered.
How long am I on the phone to place an order?
We retain all pick up and delivery information from order to order. This allows us to know the location of your customers, and therefore, reduce the time you are on the phone with us. Our address database contains over 30,000 locations throughout Central
Florida.
How do I setup an account?

1-800-542-0851. We will ask for basic information (address, phone number, etc) and you will be ready to
go!
Am I charged per piece?
No - You are charged a single
base rate per pick up and delivery,
plus a charge for the total weight if the shipment exceeds 100
pounds (in some cases there will be
a minimum weight charge for larger
but lighter shipments). Our base
rates are calculated from the
distance between the city of the pick up and
city of delivery.
Can I get a proof of delivery?
Yes - Simply request that from us when you place the order. Dispatch will then call you back with the time and signature of the delivery. This will be done as a courtesy and at no
charge. |
